About the Role
As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Loft Orbital, you will be tasked with refining the UI of Cockpit, our satellite operations software. This role involves empowering end-users with powerful satellite management capabilities through a user-friendly interface. You will collaborate closely with peers on the Frontend Engineering team and interface with the wider Ground Software team.
Responsibilities
- Design tools for operations, autopilot observability, and activity tracking.
- Write code for developing our apps and services.
- Collaborate with the UI/UX design team.
- Interface with Backend services.
- Provide support using ground software (Cockpit).
- Participate in S/C Ops where everyone is involved.
Must-Have Skills
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with React or Vue.js.
- Experience working on Single Page Applications (SPAs).
- Experience working with GraphQL APIs.
- Experience with Docker.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Web Components.
- Experience with Geospatial data handling.
- UI/UX sensibility.
