Senior Frontend Engineer

Job Overview

Apollo.io is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing our core product initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and other engineering members, to implement best practices in technology, architecture, and process.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to design and contribute to core product initiatives.
• Produce clean, well-structured code with detailed specifications, ensuring it is commented, well-structured, readable, and documented.
• Implement pixel-perfect designs across different browsers as provided by our designers.
• Maintain code quality, organization, automation, and continuous delivery.
• Communicate development progress or blockers to the product lead, engineering manager, and other stakeholders.
• Work effectively as part of a large global team, attending and engaging in stand-ups, team meetings, and manager 1:1s.
• Provide and receive constructive feedback and praise to co-workers in verbal and written form.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of industry experience in frontend development, developing large-scale applications.
• Solid understanding of core JavaScript (ES6), React, Redux, HTML, and CSS.
• Strong attention to detail and understanding of REST APIs.
• Experience with Cypress in writing meaningful tests.
• Interest in building UI with performance, accessibility, and scalability in mind.
• Strong UX and product sense with the ability to negotiate the right MVP.
