Senior Frontend Engineer

Job Overview

Apollo.io is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing our core product initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and other engineering members, to implement best practices in technology, architecture, and process.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to design and contribute to core product initiatives.
Produce clean, well-structured code with detailed specifications, ensuring it is commented, well-structured, readable, and documented.
Implement pixel-perfect designs across different browsers as provided by our designers.
Maintain code quality, organization, automation, and continuous delivery.
Communicate development progress or blockers to the product lead, engineering manager, and other stakeholders.
Work effectively as part of a large global team, attending and engaging in stand-ups, team meetings, and manager 1:1s.
Provide and receive constructive feedback and praise to co-workers in verbal and written form.

Required Skills and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of industry experience in frontend development, developing large-scale applications.
Solid understanding of core JavaScript (ES6), React, Redux, HTML, and CSS.
Strong attention to detail and understanding of REST APIs.
Experience with Cypress in writing meaningful tests.
Interest in building UI with performance, accessibility, and scalability in mind.
Strong UX and product sense with the ability to negotiate the right MVP.
