About the Role
In this role, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for developing algorithms for financial applications. You will work on the entire development process, from data processing and analysis to algorithm development and the creation of both back-end and front-end functionalities. Your work will directly impact the development of systems and algorithms that position Fortnox as a leading fintech company in Sweden.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full stack applications using modern programming languages and technologies such as Kotlin, Typescript, Python, React, and Kafka.
- Engage in machine learning development to build innovative financial systems and algorithms.
- Collaborate with a team of skilled developers to design and implement robust and scalable solutions.
- Continuously improve methods, tools, and deliveries, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends, sharing knowledge with colleagues.
Qualifications
- A strong interest in programming and proficiency in multiple programming languages.
- A degree in computer engineering, technical physics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Education and/or experience in machine learning and algorithm development.
- At least three years of professional software development experience.
- A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with a passion for learning and collaboration.
- Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
