Are you a recent IT graduate eager to take the next step in your career? Fortnox Academy offers you the opportunity to deepen your development skills and grow within the Fortnox group. Starting in January 2025, this trainee program is designed to help you integrate into Fortnox with all its opportunities.

About Fortnox

Fortnox connects people, companies, and organizations to create innovative and sustainable solutions. As a developer, you will work in cross-functional teams and be involved in the entire development process, from system design and implementation to testing and release. Through Experis and Fortnox Academy, you will undergo an intensive 10-12 week training program that provides a foundation for your growth at Fortnox.

Your Role

As a developer at Fortnox, you will create high-quality, innovative solutions and products that are sustainable and easy to maintain. You will work with cross-functional development teams with various specializations and competencies, including developers, test engineers, product designers, and product owners. In this role, you will gain a comprehensive perspective on the different phases and steps of development and have the opportunity to broaden your skills. Pair programming and code reviews are regularly on the agenda, with teamwork and high quality at the core of your workday. Collaboration and feedback are considered keys to both your and your team's success.

Responsibilities

• Design, Implementation, and Improvement: Actively participate in the design and implementation of new features and continuously work on improving and fixing code issues.
• Code Review: Review and ensure the quality of colleagues' code.
• Testing: Write and maintain automated tests to ensure system stability and functionality.
• Team Support: Support team members as needed and contribute to a positive and well-functioning team.
• Work Improvements: Suggest and implement improvements in daily work.

Experis and Fortnox Academy

Experis, in collaboration with Fortnox Academy, offers you the opportunity to deepen and further your development skills, followed by a specialization period and consultancy assignment at Fortnox in Växjö. We focus heavily on coaching to give our employees the opportunity to develop both technical skills and soft skills. The employment begins with an intensive training conducted by Experis. After completing the training, all participants will start working as consultants at Fortnox.

Additional Requirements

• Completed a higher university or college education in software engineering, computer science, information systems, or equivalent.
• Fluent communication in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to work onsite at the Växjö office (some remote work is possible).
