Senior Full-stack Engineer

Job Overview

United Talent Agency (UTA) is seeking a Senior Full-stack Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. This role is pivotal in designing, developing, and maintaining our web applications. You will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of complex, scalable full-stack solutions, mentoring junior developers, and driving best practices in code quality, testing, and continuous integration/deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Design and Implementation: Architect and develop robust, high-performance applications using modern frontend and backend technologies.
• Mentorship: Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership across multiple projects.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define and implement new features.
• Optimization: Optimize application performance and improve system efficiency.
• Innovation: Evaluate and integrate new technologies to enhance our tech stack.
• Technical Decision-Making: Contribute to technical decision-making and long-term technology strategy.
• Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the entire stack.

Required Skills and Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related engineering discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience: 7+ years of full-stack development experience.
• Technical Proficiency: Expert-level proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js) and Node.js.
• Backend Skills: Experience with server-side languages such as Python.
• Database Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of database technologies (MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Neo4j).
• Cloud and DevOps: Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• API and Architecture: Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
• DevOps Practices: Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code.
• Frontend Technologies: Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, responsive design).
• Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems (Git).
• Additional Skills: Experience with GraphQL, TypeScript, or WebSocket technologies, knowledge of serverless architectures and FaaS (Function as a Service), familiarity with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) or data streaming platforms (Kafka), and experience with mobile app development (React Native, Flutter).
