About the Role

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer at Veritone, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing innovative features for our Public Sector applications. These applications run on aiWARE, the world’s first operating system for artificial intelligence. You will work with a variety of programming languages, primarily focusing on TypeScript, React, and Node.js.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and Implement Services: Develop services using TypeScript, React, and Node.js to build UI solutions that are maintainable, cost-effective, and responsive.
• Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with product, design, and infrastructure teams to enhance applications and services.
• Ensure Reliability: Partner with operations and infrastructure to build, scale, and monitor services and applications.
• Code Development: Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain software code for high-performance business applications.
• Optimize Code: Analyze and optimize both User Interface and Backend Application code for efficiency.
• Mentor Junior Engineers: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers to foster their growth and development.

Required Skills and Experience

• Professional Experience: At least 2+ years of experience in building high-performance, reliable systems in a complex, multi-tiered, distributed environment.
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Redux, and Node.js. Familiarity with GraphQL, ElasticSearch, and Docker/Kubernetes.
• Debugging and Performance: Strong debugging skills and experience with JavaScript performance in Node/Chrome.
• Continuous Learning: A curious mindset with a passion for continuous learning and improvement.

Bonus Points

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• AI Enthusiasm: Experience or interest in working on the next generation of Artificial Intelligence applications.

• Competitive Compensation: A competitive salary range of €127,000 to €149,000 annually.
