The Role
We are seeking a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to join our Enablement team. This role involves building and enhancing our music curation and content management systems. You will be a core team member, developing robust API services, backend systems, and frontend interfaces that power Supernatural’s workout creation and content curation.
Responsibilities
- Implement scalable, stable, and reliable infrastructure.
- Design and implement new features and major redesigns of the CMS frontend.
- Actively participate in engineering process improvement and planning discussions.
- Collaborate on backend server development and application feature development.
- Work effectively with a multidisciplinary team including product managers, program managers, designers, QA, marketing, and other roles.
- Develop positive working relationships with peers and customers.
- Foster a growth mindset and regularly seek out opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with empathy and understanding, creating a safe space to share ideas.
Required Qualifications
- CS, Software Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
- 2-4+ years of experience in developing distributed systems using microservices and RESTful APIs.
- Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, and HTML.
- Experience with modern web application frameworks (Python/Flask/Django).
- Experience with Node.js and modern frameworks like React or Vue.
- Knowledge of SQL databases.
- Appreciation for PCI compliance, GDPR, and PII protection laws.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a startup environment.
- Experience with productivity tools and content management systems.
Salary and Benefits
The base salary range for this position is $85,000 - $130,000 annually. This is complemented by health insurance and other company perks.
