About the Role
Join our small but mighty Mobile Core team at Pleo, where our vision is to empower product teams to build, maintain, and monitor mobile app features with an eye for quality, consistency, and scale. We are seeking a Senior Mobile Platform Engineer who is passionate about technical excellence and crafting ambitious, forward-thinking strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain React Native mobile apps.
- Utilize TypeScript for robust application development.
- Implement the Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) design pattern.
- Build native mobile apps for iOS and/or Android.
- Manage CI/CD processes and tools such as Fastlane or Github Actions.
- Utilize tools like ReactQuery, Modularization, or Expo.
- Build quality apps with trending E2E testing frameworks (Maestro/Detox/Jest).
- Define and drive a technical strategy for the platform team.

About You
- Strong experience in developing and maintaining React Native mobile apps.
- Proficient in TypeScript and familiar with the Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) design pattern.
- Hands-on experience with native mobile app development for iOS and/or Android.
- Proficient with CI/CD processes and tools such as Fastlane or Github Actions.
- Knowledge of tools like ReactQuery, Modularization, or Expo.
- Experience with E2E testing frameworks (Maestro/Detox/Jest).
- Ability to define and drive a technical strategy for a platform team.
