About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and self-driven Senior Mobile Engineer with expertise in React Native to join our team at Bitvavo. You will be responsible for developing secure, scalable, and user-friendly mobile applications that enhance our platform's functionality. Your role will be pivotal in creating innovative solutions that improve user interactions with digital assets.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive cross-domain initiatives and generate innovative ideas to enhance the platform.
- Set and uphold development standards, maintain and evolve the front-end architecture.
- Collaborate with the Product Manager, Engineering Manager, and other Mobile Engineers to ensure a scalable and maintainable architecture.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the selection and adoption of new technologies.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless and delightful user experience.
Required Skills and Experience
- 6+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in React, React Native, Redux, Jest, TypeScript, and CSS.
- Experience with side-effect management libraries such as Redux-Saga.
- Previous experience with testing frameworks like Jest and automation testing tools such as Detox, Appium, or Maestro.
- Familiarity with iOS and Android native development, understanding complex flows, and a good grasp of WebSockets.
- Strong interest and passion for delivering high-quality code in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Proven track record and genuine interest in mentoring and fostering the growth of teammates.
