Robinhood is a leading fintech company dedicated to democratizing finance for all. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to our expansive experimentation platform, Kaizen, and SerVars, our Dynamic Configuration platform.

About the Role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in advancing our experimentation platform from its current state to aspirational levels. You will be responsible for building and owning core features of some of Robinhood's most heavily trafficked services. This role requires a deep understanding of experimentation principles, including A/B testing, hypothesis testing, and statistical analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and own core features of Robinhood's experimentation platform.
• Craft large-scale systems within a team, making tradeoffs for risk and long-term maintainability.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand their needs and build systems that help achieve company-wide goals.
• Champion engineering excellence and improve operational efficiency across the organization.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience as a senior engineer with a proven track record of planning and leading large projects.
• Experience working closely with data scientists and translating complex data science models into production-level code.
• Solid understanding of experimentation principles and statistical analysis.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, React, Bazel, Kubernetes, AWS, Kafka, Postgres, Airflow, and Presto.
• Passion for mentoring junior engineers and improving engineering craftsmanship.

Salary Range

The expected salary range for this role in Menlo Park, CA is $157,000—$185,000 USD. This role is also eligible to participate in a Robinhood bonus plan and equity plan.
