About the Role
Join Robinhood as a Senior Web Engineer on the Crypto Trading team, where you will have a significant impact on our crypto trading platforms. This role involves designing, building, and maintaining services that power and accelerate our crypto products. You will be directly involved in enhancing the user experience for our web-based crypto trading applications.
What You'll Do
- Create high-quality, performant products using technologies like React, TypeScript, and CSS-in-JS.
- Own and drive features from inception through design to implementation and launch.
- Collaborate with design and product teams to rapidly iterate and ship financial products.
- Build and improve tools to support Robinhood's operations and platforms, providing leverage across the company.
- Advocate for best practices in testing, code quality, and code review processes.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of full-time professional experience with modern web standards and technologies.
- Expertise in writing and debugging JavaScript in both Node and browser environments.
- A track record of leading large scope technical projects at scale.
- Passion for building a best-in-class developer experience and obsession with code quality.
Location and Compensation
This role is based in New York, NY, with a competitive salary range of $187,000ā$220,000 USD, depending on experience and location. The position is also eligible for Robinhood's equity plan and bonus plan.
