About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer at Sysdig, you will be at the forefront of cloud security, working on cutting-edge solutions to protect cloud-native applications. You will report to the Engineering Manager and play a crucial role in architecting efficient and reusable code for complex applications. Your work will involve designing features on top of our data architecture, contributing high-quality code, and promoting best practices in software development.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and Develop: Create efficient and reusable code for complex applications.
- Feature Design: Design features built on top of our data architecture.
- Code Quality: Contribute high-quality code and promote best practices around development.
- Project Management: Manage complex projects in collaboration with Product Managers and other Software Engineers.
- On-call Rotation: Participate in an on-call rotation to address urgent issues.
What You Bring
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in developing scalable and secure backend services.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Go programming language, RESTful API design, microservice-based architectures, and testing methodologies such as unit and integration testing.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
- Collaboration: Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
