About the Role
As a Senior Go Backend Engineer at GlassFlow, you will be pivotal in laying the technical foundations of our data streaming infrastructure. You will write server-side applications, build APIs, and create integrations with external data systems. This role offers the opportunity to join a small, dynamic team tackling complex problems in data engineering and developing a product that will be used globally.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain server-side applications using Go.
- Design and implement APIs and integrations with various data systems.
- Work with technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Collaborate with a team to solve challenging technical problems and innovate our product offerings.
Our Tech Stack
Our current tech stack includes Go and Python for backend development, JavaScript for the frontend, and is Kubernetes native. Experience with these technologies, especially Go, is crucial for this role.
Ideal Candidate
- Strong experience in Go programming.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and container technologies (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Experience with queue systems like Kafka, SQS, RabbitMQ.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments, preferably in early-stage startups.
