Join Our Team as a Senior Software Engineer
Snyk is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Experience team. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about software development and security, and who wants to make a significant impact on the security posture of enterprise customers.
About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be part of the AppSecEx Division, where you will collaborate with a dynamic team to build scalable and adaptable products. These products are used by both our Snyk offerings and enterprise customers to tackle complex security challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Maintain Features: Work with Node.js, Typescript, and Golang to develop and maintain software features.
- Architectural Decisions: Collaborate on architectural decisions to create maintainable solutions.
- Code Quality: Promote code quality through paired programming, code reviews, and best practices.
- Issue Resolution: Resolve issues to ensure product stability and reliability.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers and support their professional growth.
- Strategic Solutions: Propose solutions that deliver both short-term benefits and serve as long-term technical investments.
- Stay Current: Keep up with the latest engineering trends and technologies.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 6+ years in software engineering.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in running and operating software on Kubernetes, and experience with workflow systems and event-driven architecture.
- CI/CD Knowledge: Strong understanding of CI/CD best practices.
- Proactive Attitude: A proactive approach and accountability in your work.
- Adaptability: Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to change.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in scaling a rapidly growing SaaS application.
- Experience working in a globally distributed team.
- Knowledge of large-scale distributed systems and databases.
- Familiarity with Argo Workflow.
