Responsibilities
You will work as part of Apptio Targetprocess Engineering team to deliver impactful and valuable features. You will take part in end-to-end ownership of both internal and customer-facing functionality from concept to design to production, and collaborate with product managers, user experience designers, and other engineers to achieve high-quality solutions.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Passion, energy, and the desire to grow and to deliver awesome customer-focused software.
- 3+ years of experience delivering enterprise-level software in C# (.NET) or JavaScript/TypeScript; other languages are also considered.
- Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, enterprise systems design, asynchronous architectures, object-oriented and functional programming paradigms.
- Knowledge of web application development, experience with building REST APIs.
- Experience with relational databases, database schema design, SQL.
- Experience with best SDLC practices: coding standards, reviews, code management, build processes, testing, observability.
- Fluent English language skills.
Preferred Technical And Professional Expertise
- Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) application design, understanding the impact of this architecture in a deployment environment.
- Experience developing Single Page Web Applications with web UI libraries/frameworks (React or similar)
- Experience with container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)
- Familiarity with web authentication and authorization standards (OAuth, OIDC, SAML, etc.)
