Your Role and Responsibilities
As a DevOps developer, you will:
- Work in a Kubernetes-based microservices environment to support our advanced cloud services.
- Develop custom solutions and utilize open-source DevOps tools for build and deploy automation, monitoring, and data gathering for our software delivery pipeline.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and continuous delivery, increasing the maturity of DevOps and agile adoption practices.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 2+ years of professional experience in DevOps, with proficiency in shell scripts and configuration management systems, particularly on the Kubernetes platform.
- Experience with building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Travis, and Tekton.
- Operational experience with Kubernetes or RedHat Openshift clusters.
- Experience with at least one cloud provider (AWS, IBM Cloud, Azure, or GCP).
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience with GitOps architecture and tools like ArgoCD.
- Software development experience with Golang, especially in writing Kubernetes operators.
