Your Role and Responsibilities
As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting IBM Knowledge Catalog services.
- Working through the full systems development lifecycle on both SaaS and Hybrid Cloud platforms.
- Collaborating in an agile environment, adhering to best practices for quality, performance, scalability, resiliency, and security.
- Engaging in Kubernetes-based microservices environments to support cutting-edge cloud services.
- Implementing custom solutions and utilizing open-source DevOps tools for build and deploy automation, monitoring, and data gathering.
- Contributing to continuous improvement and delivery, increasing the maturity of DevOps and agile practices.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Professional experience in DevOps: 2-3+ years for Mid level, 5+ years for Senior.
- Proficiency in Linux environments, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
- Experience with code analysis tools such as Sonarqube, and source control systems like Git.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Familiarity with Kubernetes yaml files, Helm charts, Ansible, and Terraform scripts.
- Experience with Redhat OpenShift Operators and Linux system administration.
