Siemens Digital Industries Software is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in Grenoble, France. As a leader in automation and digitalization, we are committed to transforming the everyday through innovative software solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work on our Buy Manager solution, which is targeted at Customer Quotation Management for the EMS industry.
Role Overview
As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the development of new features and managing all aspects of software development, from requirement gathering to implementation and testing. You will work closely with stakeholders to collect and review requirements, design, implement, deploy, and maintain features, and participate in peer code reviews and documentation updates.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and review requirements for new features.
- Design, implement, deploy, and maintain software features.
- Participate in peer code reviews and update documentation.
- Follow established development policies and processes, including SCRUM methods.
- Coordinate development activities with product management, quality assurance, and technical support teams.
Required Qualifications
- MS degree in Computer Science or an Engineering field.
- Proficient in application development using Windev.
- Extensive development experience in a production environment (commercial software).
- Strong teamwork and cooperation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the Electronic Sourcing and manufacturing industry.
- Experience in a collaborative, agile development environment.
