You will be part of a team working on critical systems that shape the future of the North American freight and passenger rail market. Your role will involve developing systems that form the backbone of technologies like network optimization and autonomous rail networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirement Planning and Development: Cover all aspects of requirement planning, development, documentation, verification, validation support, and software maintenance.
- Client Interaction: Communicate with internal and external clients, translating technical concepts for non-technical users.
- Complex Software Management: Handle complex software topics such as multithreading and asynchronous process communication.
- Agile Software Development: Engage in software development within an agile environment, including information analysis, software debugging, documentation, testing, problem-solving, and teamwork.
Ideal Candidate
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in Java development.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in JUnit, mocking frameworks (e.g., Mockito), Angular/React, Kubernetes, Docker.
- Architecture Knowledge: Experience with event-driven, service-oriented, and cloud-based architecture and design.
- Language Skills: Intermediate English proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in industrial control systems or mission-critical software development.
- Familiarity with technologies such as RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, Python, C++.
