Understand.ai was founded in 2017 with the vision to make AI accessible to everyone. We solve the data problem of AI by providing tooling and services that enable our customers to get the right data, at the right quality and quantity, to make production-grade AI products a reality. Headquartered in Karlsruhe, our team has grown to more than 80 employees and is part of the dSPACE Group since 2019. dSPACE is a market innovator in providing solutions for embedded controller software development in the Automotive, Aerospace, and Manufacturing industries.
The Role
As a Working Student in Fullstack Engineering, you will join an ambitious and highly motivated team building a market-leading annotation product. This role offers the opportunity to learn modern software engineering principles and contribute your ideas to evolve our products. You will work on a wide range of tasks, from building a great UI with the best user experience to writing state-of-the-art web applications and building cloud services. Our team builds, ships, and operates our product to make AI accessible and advance society.
Your Tasks
- Work within agile and self-organized teams.
- Build scalable and reliable web applications with an experienced team.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code and participate in code reviews.
- Contribute to our DevOps efforts to build, test, and release software faster and more reliably.

- Interest in mastering the full stack of professional, modern web applications.
- Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
