Our platform transforms documents into interactive learning experiences, providing personalized exams, contextualized chats, and knowledge graphs. We support students in exam preparation and assist educators in creating more engaging classes.
About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Founding Engineer / Fullstack Software Developer to join our small but dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in the development, implementation, and maintenance of features for our core product using Next.js. Your work will directly impact the learning experience of students and educators alike.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement Features: Work on the development and implementation of new features for our core product using Next.js.
- Performance Optimization: Analyze the performance of our platform to identify bottlenecks and areas for optimization.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure quality control using end-to-end testing frameworks.
- Innovation and Leadership: Proactively contribute ideas and lead the development of new features and improvements.
- UX/UI Improvement: Work on improving the user experience and interface design.
Requirements
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Strong background in Next.js (or at least React). Experience with Tailwind CSS, Supabase, gen-AI applications (esp. Vercel AI SDK), PostgreSQL, web analytics tools, and testing frameworks is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience in a development team, either through professional employment or open-source contributions.
- Entrepreneurial Spirit: Experience in a startup environment is preferred.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in either English or German.
