About the Role

As a Full-Stack Developer on our Application Engineering team at SPREAD AI, you will play a crucial role in enhancing user experiences by developing applications in our low-code environment. Your work will make complex product data more accessible, understandable, and usable. You will delve into customer data, uncovering how various data points interconnect to provide actionable insights and streamlined solutions. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will design and implement low-code solutions tailored to our customers' specific needs, simplifying intricate engineering tasks and empowering informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and Implement Applications: Develop responsive, user-centric applications in low-code environments (SPREAD Studio) that deliver direct value to customers, making complex data more accessible and actionable.
• Data Engagement: Engage deeply with customer data to understand the intricate connections and insights it holds, driving the development of features that reflect these insights.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional project teams to ensure solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards.
• Network Building: Build and maintain a robust network of connected data from various systems within our Engineering Intelligence Network, ensuring seamless integration and easy access to critical information.
• Continuous Development: Contribute to the development of SPREAD Studio, enabling users to create their own applications and solutions with minimal coding, thus enhancing their ability to solve domain-specific challenges.
• Code Quality: Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following SOLID principles. Ensure comprehensive documentation and test coverage through unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest technologies, industry trends, and best practices. Apply this knowledge to enhance your work and contribute to the continuous improvement of SPREAD’s products.
• Customer Engagement: Participate in roll-out projects that involve developing and implementing solutions tailored to specific customer processes. Engage directly with customers to understand their needs and deliver solutions that exceed their expectations.

Required Experience

• Education and Experience: Formal degree in Hardware/Software Engineering or related field, with 2+ years of experience working on software in a production setting.
• Programming Skills: Language-agnostic mindset with experience writing code in JavaScript, Python, or Golang. Experience with backend frameworks such as Express, Flask, or Gin is a plus.
• API and Database Knowledge: Familiarity with GraphQL and/or REST APIs; experience with NoSQL and SQL databases (e.g., Postgres/MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, Neo4j).
• Workflow and Environment: Experience working in a modern CI/CD workflow and agile environment.
• Learning and Adaptability: Interest and ability to learn most technologies on-the-go.
• Communication: Strong communication skills and fluency in English.

Preferred Experience

• Frontend Frameworks: Experience in React or any other frontend framework.
• Cloud and Containerization: Experience working in production-scale cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure) and with containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Additional Skills: Proficiency and/or interest in low-code, data modeling, ETL, and E2E testing.
