What Success Looks Like In This Role

As an APP Developer at Unisys, you will guide clients through joint application design sessions to collect new business requirements. You will identify and develop use cases based on client requirements and verify these through various methods such as analysis, tests, demonstrations, and inspections. Leading and analyzing business processes/systems, identifying inefficiencies and required controls, documenting procedures, and tracking KPI’s are key responsibilities.

You will manage requirements through review and approval sessions, where project schedules, costs, and duration estimates are updated and business objectives are revisited. Collaboration with internal and external users/customers to elicit business concerns and develop workable solutions is crucial.

Working with the QA team to prepare test scenarios and data, documenting and managing business and functional requirements are also part of your role. You will participate in planning initiatives, feasibility studies, cost/benefit analyses, and new systems design.

Reviewing user stories and acceptance criteria, providing functional solutions and clarifications on inter-module dependencies, and providing thought leadership in one of the functional areas are also important aspects of the job. You will determine a project’s requirements by extracting them from business or government policies, as well as from current and future users, through interaction and research.

Anticipating future requirements to achieve successful outcomes, organizing requirements into related categories to effectively manage and communicate them, and translating business requirements into technical requirements using powerful analysis and modeling tools to match strategic business objectives with practical technical solutions are critical.

At regular intervals in the project life cycle, you will safeguard and protect the business and user’s needs by verifying functionality, accuracy, and completeness of the requirements against the original documents. Emphasizing simplicity and ease of use at all times, especially in implementation, and identifying and avoiding extraneous activities that do not solve the problem or help reach the objective are part of your duties.

In application maintenance, the focus is on preventing and correcting defects; enhancements, or making changes to increase the value provided by the system.

Requirements

• Experience in Salesforce functional & technical roles
• SAP functional roles and analytic profiles (BW, SAC, etc.)
• Knowledge about EU Regulation and EU Institutions specific Project Methodology PM2
