Overview
We are seeking a talented Senior Applications Developer at AT&T, passionate about building large-scale application and data solutions. This role is pivotal in managing the ever-growing information needs of our clients. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in the Java tech stack and extensive experience in hands-on programming using various languages.
Key Responsibilities
- Programming and Development: Using programming languages and technology, write code, complete programming, and perform testing and debugging of applications.
- Architectural Leadership: Architect and implement solutions ensuring scalability, maintainability, and extensibility. Collaborate with stakeholders to explore and propose viable solutions.
- Software Development Lifecycle: Participate in all aspects of software development, including design, coding, and code review. Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure reliability and robustness.
- Technical Leadership: Lead the strategic alignment of application development roadmaps to application and enterprise strategies. Provide technical design and architectural leadership to multiple teams and projects.
- Innovation and Research: Research, analyze, and recommend new technologies and rationalization opportunities. Drive the adoption of standard processes, tools, and techniques across the firm.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 8+ years of proven experience as a Full Stack Java Developer.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Java Stack programming with expertise in Spring Boot, Apache Tomcat, and other related technologies.
- Front-end Development: Hands-on experience with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React.js or Angular.js.
- Data Management: Fluent in SQL and NoSQL data stores, possessing deep knowledge of data access patterns and strategies.
- Cloud and Containerization: Expertise in cloud technologies, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Security: In-depth understanding and hands-on experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts.
