Overview
Join Santander Bank, N.A. as a Data & Analytics Intern for a 10-week Summer Internship located in Boston, MA. This opportunity is designed for graduate students with an anticipated graduation date between December 2024 and June 2025. As an intern, you will support the Consumer and Digital Transformation team within the Data & Analytics Center of Excellence (DA-CoE).
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Insights: Assist in enabling product strategy and profitable growth through customer insights.
- Data Engineering: Contribute to the development of customer-360 data and insights.
- Predictive Models: Support the creation of predictive models for customer acquisition and deepening.
- Advanced Analytics: Help understand channel behavior through advanced analytics.
- Business Intelligence: Work on business intelligence across channels, products, and transformation initiatives.
Requirements
- Graduate student with an expected graduation date between Fall 2024 - Spring 2025.
- Major in a quantitative discipline or significant coursework in data science/data engineering.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above.
- Excellent written and verbal English language skills.
- Familiarity with Python, R, SQL, or a similar programming language.
- Experience with Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently on special projects.
- Adaptability to work in a fast-paced market environment.
- Solid professional and personal work ethic.
- Ability to work in an inclusive environment that supports employees from all backgrounds.
Working Conditions
- Extended working hours may be required as dictated by management and business needs.
- Travel to multiple facilities may be required.
- May be required to lift, push, or pull materials weighing up to twenty (20) pounds.
- May require repetitive motions of the hands and wrist related to writing and typing at an electronic keyboard.

Salary
The base pay for this position is $83,200 per year.
