We are currently seeking a talented Design Engineer to join our team in San Francisco, California. As our first design engineer, you will play a critical role in transforming AI capabilities into intuitive products.

Our platform writes and executes one million lines of code every 36 hours, serving over one million users and generating over three million data visualizations. We are a small, technical team with experience from companies like Uber, Microsoft, and Facebook, and we are backed by top investors including AI Grant and founders of Vercel, Notion, and others.
What You'll Do
- Design and Build User Interfaces: Create user interfaces that are used by millions of people.
- Translate AI Capabilities into Products: Work closely with our AI team to translate advancing AI capabilities into user-friendly products.
- Craft Product Features: From idea to UX to pixel-perfect execution, you will craft every detail of new product features.
- Define Visual Identity: Help define our product's visual identity and interaction patterns.
What We're Looking For
- UI/UX Design Skills: A portfolio showcasing your UI/UX design skills is required. Bonus points if it includes a live project you've coded.
- Understanding of AI Products: Familiarity with successful AI products like ChatGPT, Midjourney, and Perplexity.
- Coding Skills: Experience and willingness to write code for your designs. Proficiency in React, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and Figma is essential.
- Bonus: Experience in building an AI side project.
