About the Role
Figma is expanding its engineering team and is seeking a passionate Software Engineer to join the Teamwork group. This role involves full stack web engineering, focusing on features that enable companies of all sizes to adopt, manage, collaborate, and create using Figma Design and FigJam. You will be responsible for areas such as search and file browsing capabilities, security and access platforms, customer lifecycle systems, and in-product notifications.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with designers, PMs, and other engineers to plan features that unblock adoption across new customer categories.
- Build, document, and maintain tests, features, and infrastructure.
- Communicate and document architectural designs and requirements.
- Provide feedback and facilitate learning and growth within the team.
- Help interview and recruit talented engineers.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional experience in full-stack development.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as TypeScript/JavaScript, React, Ruby, Java, Python, Go, or Rust.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Growth mindset and a focus on peer learning and development.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in a technical lead role, particularly in collaboration tools or B2B/B2C SaaS products.
- Advanced education in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Experience with product identity, authentication, and permissions infrastructure.
- Familiarity with SaaS product customer lifecycle, including pricing tiers and billing models.

Salary and Benefits
- Location: Remote in the United States
- Salary Range: $149,000—$350,000 USD (varies by location and experience)
- Equity: Offered as part of compensation
