Entry Level AI Engineer - Sales Program

Introduction

Your Role and Responsibilities

As an AI Engineer, you will:

Develop Pre and Post Sales Pilots: Work on pilots to validate AI solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with customer requirements.
Optimize AI Solutions: Monitor and enhance the performance of AI solutions, focusing on efficiency, accuracy, and speed.
Collaborate and Manage Projects: Work with AI engineers, platform engineers, and sales teams to deliver successful AI solutions.
Stay Informed on Industry Trends: Keep up with the latest advancements in AI and evaluate new technologies for potential impact on solution design.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Education: B.S./M.S. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Math, Statistics, Engineering, or equivalent.
Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python, R, Java, or similar languages.
AI Knowledge: Familiarity with AI technology and industry trends.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

AI Frameworks: Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, or Hugging Face.
Data Libraries: Knowledge of SciKit Learn, Pandas, Matplotlib.
Open Source and Legacy Technologies: Familiarity with open source technology and legacy coding is a plus.

Location and Travel

This position requires presence in one of IBM's offices in Atlanta, Austin, Chicago, Dallas, New York, Raleigh, San Francisco, or Washington DC, with readiness to travel up to 50% annually.
