Codility is seeking a skilled Frontend Developer to join our team. As a Frontend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in shaping products designed for engineers by engineers. Our platform evaluates the coding skills of developers, helping companies make evidence-based hiring decisions.

Location

This position is remote, and we are looking for candidates based in Poland or Eastern Europe. We offer both B2B and employment contract options. Please note that applications from other locations will not be considered.

The Team

Our Enable pillar focuses on core capabilities of our application, including user and account management, integrations, billing, and payment systems. We design systems that handle increasing loads of users and data without sacrificing performance or reliability. We work in an agile, value-focused environment, solving underlying problems rather than just producing features.

The Role

• Implement user-friendly UI and create a great experience for our customers.
• Collaborate with our Product Manager and Designer to analyze user behavior and improve usability.
• Work within a cross-functional team, participating in research and design processes.
• Focus on delivering a flawless and reliable user experience with zero downtime.

Responsibilities

• Write reusable, testable, production-ready, and efficient code using React and TypeScript.
• Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.
• Test your code and contribute to deployment and scaling processes.
• Implement user-facing elements in collaboration with backend engineers.
• Ensure security and data protection by design.
• Perform performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, and automation.

Who You Are

• Demonstrable experience as a React developer, ideally with TypeScript, in a product-led or SaaS organization.
• Experience working with user behavior data and analytics.
• Proficient in designing and developing great user interfaces and experiences.
• Good understanding of public cloud services, preferably AWS.
• Strong understanding of modern software development best practices like Trunk Based Development, Continuous Delivery, and TDD.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with large frontend codebases.
• Experience using AI-assisted tooling for development.
• Familiarity with accessibility and modern UI development principles.
