Join Apryl as a Senior Frontend Developer
Apryl, part of the Progyny Inc family, is on a mission to make fertility and family-forming care accessible everywhere. We are looking for a passionate Senior Frontend Developer to join our team in Berlin and help us build state-of-the-art, user-centric single-page applications (SPAs) using React.
Your Role
As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will:
- Take ownership of designing and improving the frontend architecture of our platform.
- Be a pragmatic, hands-on developer who continuously improves the codebase of our React applications.
- Work closely with UX and backend specialists to find the best technical and user experience solutions.
Requirements
- Broad experience in modern web technologies and a versatile all-rounder with deep knowledge of building stable front-end applications.
- Proficiency with React, TypeScript, and GraphQL or similar technologies.
- Comfortable working in a co-creative environment with direct communication, feedback, and flat hierarchies.
- Resilient and passionate, with the ability to adapt to change with a positive attitude.
- On-site presence required in our Berlin office.
- Eligibility to work within the EU.
Nice to Have
- Interest in learning the basics of backend development with Python/Django.
- Knowledge of building Progressive Web Applications (PWAs) and possibly publishing to app stores.
- Experience with cloud-based technologies and tools such as AWS and Terraform.
- Experience mentoring junior developers.
