Join Our Team as a Full Stack Developer
Swiss Re is seeking a talented Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic Security Team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing secure applications that support our mission to make the world more resilient. This position offers a hybrid work environment, allowing you to balance working from home and our office in Madrid.
About the Team
The Security Team at Swiss Re is the central hub for all security-related activities. We focus on cybersecurity engineering, operations, governance, risk, and compliance. As part of this team, the Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM) team manages access for B2B partners to Swiss Re's applications and services.
Your Role
As a Full Stack Developer, you will:
- Design and implement features and components for our Customer Identity and Access Management applications.
- Ensure technical designs align with architecture and meet security and quality standards.
- Contribute to the technical documentation and operations of solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure solutions meet reliability and availability expectations.
What We Need From You
- A passion for developing high-quality, secure-by-design applications.
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience in complex projects within large organizations.
- Proficiency in .NET and REST-based implementations.
- Experience with front-end development using JavaScript, specifically Angular.
- Knowledge of Entity Framework and databases like MSSQL.
- Familiarity with data modelling and database optimization concepts.
- Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Experience in meeting non-functional requirements such as reliability and performance.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- A collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Understanding of multi-tier and microservice-based architecture.
- Knowledge of containerization and cloud platforms like Azure.
- Experience with agile development practices and DevOps, including Infrastructure-as-Code.
- Experience working on transaction-intensive applications.
