Overview
Reaktor's award-winning tech community is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our North American team in New York City. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage in full software development lifecycle activities, from front-end to production, in a client-facing, strategic capacity.
Role Responsibilities
- Partner with technology and business teams of clients to develop deep knowledge of their businesses and the challenges they face.
- Work on large systems with multiple components and interconnections, requiring quick learning of new languages and problem-solving skills.
- Engage in daily fact-finding missions to gather necessary information for solving client problems.
- Build specific domain knowledge to better understand the business context driving client decisions.
Ideal Candidate
- Comfortable engaging with client stakeholders.
- Experienced across various software development modalities (backend, frontend, ops).
- Proficient in server-side programming languages like TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, Java/Scala/Kotlin, Clojure, and Python.
- Strong in client-side languages and frameworks, especially TypeScript/JavaScript and React.
- Expertise in databases with SQL experience.
- Foundational knowledge in DevOps, including CI, automated deployment, and test automation.
- Experience with CCS, specifically AWS, optimizing Kubernetes clusters or other server setups.
