About the Role
Cosylab is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join our team in Ljubljana, Slovenia. This role focuses on developing software systems using web technologies. We are looking for someone with experience in web technologies who is eager to learn and work with other technologies. Our software is used in control systems for various scientific devices and institutions, so an interest in the scientific or big-physics field is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop software systems.
- Document and thoroughly test your work.
- Analyze requirements and define technical specifications with the client.
- Communicate regularly with the internal team and the client.
Required Skills and Experience
- Experience with React (or similar frameworks like Angular, Vue.js) and Node.js.
- Basic knowledge of object-oriented programming languages (Java, C++, C#, etc.).
- Familiarity with source control (GIT), CI/CD, code analysis, and other modern programming practices.
- Developed communication skills and an open mind for discussion and team collaboration.
Bonus Points
- Interest or experience in the scientific domain (fusion, particle accelerators, etc.).
- Experience in leading software development and engineering projects.
- Experience working with clients.
Education
- B.Sc. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or other related technical disciplines.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
