About The Role
In this role, you will be working in our product teams to create customer value at a high pace. This includes implementing, releasing, and running microservices with both web-based UIs and backend components. You will work in a team with backgrounds in Software and Battery Engineering – creating solutions to get our projects from definition to customer value quickly while making sure we deliver robust, scalable, and extensible software products.
Together, we will push our battery analytics to the next level.
Your Daily Business
- Drive and shape the feature set of our SaaS product in incremental and result-oriented steps.
- Implement new software components across the stack, from our backend services handling millions of events per day to our API layer and frontend serving customers across industries.
- You are involved from an early stage of feature development and take ownership of parts of the product all the way from ideation to implementation and maintenance.
- Continuously ship code to production through our CI/CD process and implement monitoring and observability best practices to make sure everything runs smoothly.
- Help grow software engineering at TWAICE, mentor colleagues and share your knowledge and expertise in regular cross-team events.
Your Profile
- Degree in Computer Science, or a related scientific field or equivalent professional experience.
- Passion and experience delivering products to customers and iteratively improving them in a lean way.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Experience working in a highly collaborative environment, elevating your teammates through code reviews, regular knowledge sharing and open & transparent feedback.
- Natural curiosity and willingness to learn about battery technology and e-mobility.
- You have experience with most of these: Development with both Typescript and Python 3+, Building Frontends with Angular or a comparable framework (e.g. React, Vue...), Using modern HTML5/SCSS and Tailwind, Building Backends with FastAPI or a similar web framework (e.g. Django, Flask …), Deploying and running code on a cloud platform using CI/CD pipelines, IaC and modern observability solutions, Using and Contributing to a component library or design system.
Additionally great if you have experience with: AWS and its common services such as ECS, S3, Lambda, Kinesis, Glue and Athena, Designing, implementing, and maintaining RESTful APIs, Timeseries data, common tools (e.g. InfluxDB, TimescaleDB, ElasticSearch...) and associated challenges, Common data visualization tools and libraries (e.g. d3, Apache eCharts, Plotly…).
