Join Our Team as a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer

Make is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our core product team. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative solutions, building new product features, and improving existing code to enhance the maintainability, performance, reliability, and resiliency of our systems.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with a cross-functional product team to work on the core components of the Make product.
• Design and develop innovative solutions and build new product features.
• Improve existing code to enhance maintainability, performance, reliability, and resiliency of our systems.
• Write and maintain tests, and ship code to production.
• Automate repetitive work and write and review RFCs and technical documentation.
• Review and give feedback on the work of others.
• Grow and help others grow professionally.
• Participate in cross-cutting initiatives and influence how engineering practices and tooling evolve at Make.

• Back-end: JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, Redis, Elasticsearch
• Front-end: JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular, React, Web Components, Canvas
• Infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes, AWS
• CI/CD: GitHub, CircleCI
• Monitoring: DataDog

What We Expect From You

• Proven experience in developing cloud services.
• Hands-on experience with TypeScript on both back-end and front-end is a big plus.
• Experience with Docker, software containerization, and microservices architectures.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Angular, and other technologies from our stack is beneficial.
• Strong command of English, both verbal and written.
