About The Role
CrowdStrike's IoT Security Product Group is focused on developing products and solutions for ICS/OT and other IoT verticals like Healthcare. The team's charter is to leverage CrowdStrike's platform and threat intelligence capabilities to build products that integrate seamlessly with our partners' products and platforms, establishing us as the leading EDR vendor in this space.
What You'll Need
- US Citizenship required
- 5-7 years of software development experience in a full stack developer role involving both backend and frontend coding in SaaS environments.
- Experience with UI technologies such as EmberJS, AngularJS, ReactJS.
- Proficiency in high level programming languages like Java, Go, Rust, etc.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming.
- Skills in automating workflows & building pipelines with micro-services & APIs.
- Experience working with relational and non-relational/NoSQL databases technologies like MySQL, Cassandra, ElasticSearch, etc.
- A solid background in software engineering including good coding standards, source control, design documentation, issue tracking, and producing supportable results.
- Ability to scale backend systems – sharding, partitioning, and scaling horizontally.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems and scalability challenges, multi-threading, concurrency, and parallel processing technologies.
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn. Cloud technology is rapidly evolving, and staying updated with new components is essential.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities in a distributed computing environment.
Bonus Points
- Knowledge of IoT/ICS systems and networking protocols used therein.
- Familiarity with Linux and cloud components such as Amazon services.
- Experience in endpoint security, secure coding, and architecture.
- Familiarity with Agile development concepts. This role requires frequent iterations on features and quick turnaround.
- Experience in DevOps and related tools and technologies like Chef, Terraform, Kubernetes, etc.
