What You'll Do

As a Full Stack Engineer at Roboflow, you will handle a wide range of projects without deep specialization due to our team's size. You'll work on our core product—an end-to-end pipeline for building computer vision projects from image ingestion to annotation, training, and deployment. You'll also work on integrating marketing and sales tools, automating internal processes, and contributing to open source projects.

You'll have the freedom to advocate for projects you believe should be a priority and contribute to our strategic decisions. Our codebase primarily uses JavaScript and Node.js, with machine learning and image processing in Python, running on Firebase, GCS, and AWS. We're also increasingly using Docker and developing APIs and client libraries in several languages.

Example Projects

• Creating a filtering interface for users to mix and match images based on metadata.
• Expanding our annotation tool to support new functionalities like polygonal annotations and image segmentation.
• Integrating the core app with external APIs for outsourcing annotation tasks and analyzing deployed model performance.
• Streamlining our onboarding flow and deeper integrations with our products like Roboflow Universe and our REST API.

Who You'll Be Working With

You will work directly with our Engineering Lead and a team of Full Stack Engineers, collaborating with talented individuals including executives, founders, and open source contributors.

Where You'll Work

Roboflow is distributed across the US and Europe with Hubs in New York City and San Francisco. We support remote work and provide resources to work in person with team members as desired, including a relocation bonus for those who choose to work from one of our Hubs.

When You'll Work

Our team primarily operates during US daytime hours with some synchronous meetings each week. We offer a flexible schedule for collaborative and asynchronous work as needed.
