Shapr3D is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team for a 6-month program starting in January 2025. This opportunity is perfect for those still in university or recent graduates eager to learn from industry leaders and work on impactful projects.

About the Role

As a Junior Software Developer at Shapr3D, you will dive into our codebase from day one, developing your skills in C++, iOS, and Windows application development. You will work on high-impact projects, writing clean, efficient, and sustainable code that supports our multiplatform application experience across iPadOS, macOS, visionOS, and Windows.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers across the organization to build new features from scratch.
• Develop your skills in C++, iOS, and Windows application development.
• Write clean, efficient, and sustainable code.
• Engage in engineering design, implementation, and testing.
• Break down complex problems and implement creative algorithms.
• Grow both professionally and personally through various training and development opportunities.

What We Are Looking For

• Strong skills in computer architecture, operating systems, computer science, and mathematics.
• Excellent logical-analytical skills.
• Curiosity and a solution-oriented attitude.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of delivering high-quality solutions.
• Enrolled in or have a degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Ability to work at least 30 hours/week with flexibility to match your studies.
• Confident English skills, both written and verbal.

Our Technology Stack

• Cross-platform CAD engine written in standard C++20.
• UI and application logic in Swift for iPadOS, macOS, and visionOS apps.
• Proprietary rendering engine using native Metal and DirectX 11 APIs.
• Microservices written in Go and run on AWS.
• Data storage with PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and S3.
• Web frontends built with TypeScript and React.

Application Process

• Application deadline: October 25th, 2024
• Screening call with a recruiter
• Assessment Center interview (November)
• Signing contract (end of November)
• Onboarding & training (January 2025)

Please note that we cannot provide VISA support for this position. However, if you have a student VISA in Hungary, you can work for a limited amount of hours per week. If you receive a full-time offer after the program, we'll be able to support your VISA.
