Job Description
As a Full Stack Engineer at Primer, you will be responsible for building high-quality code across our JavaScript and Python stack in critical product areas. You will work with leadership to implement internal engineering frameworks and processes across the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Responsibilities
- Building and maintaining code across our JavaScript and Python stack.
- Working with leadership to implement engineering frameworks and processes.
- Participating in decisions on technology and tooling to build for scale and reach.
- Innovating and contributing ideas to the table.
- Creating first-class documentation for both merchants and internal teams.
- Conducting code reviews and mentoring junior team members as we grow.
- Collaborating with a cross-functional team including front-end engineers, back-end engineers, mobile engineers, designers, and product managers.
What We Look For
- Experience with React and TypeScript, with a deep understanding of underlying principles.
- Experience in Python and back-end engineering is a plus.
- Understanding of testing and wider infrastructure.
- Passion for building a fantastic internal 'Developer Experience' through clear documentation and automated testing.
- Engineering for performance, optimization, and conversion.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration in a cross-functional team.
Location
This position is fully remote, based anywhere in Hungary. Our engineering teams operate across Europe within local time zones.
