Prisma is seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in TypeScript to join our dynamic team. As a remote-first company, we offer the flexibility to work from anywhere within the GMT -5 to GMT +3 time zones, or from our office in Berlin, Germany.

Role and Responsibilities
As a Senior Software Engineer at Prisma, you will:
- Collaborate with a team of TypeScript engineers and work alongside engineers using Rust and Go.
- Expand the Prisma Client to support advanced database functions, from technical design to implementation.
- Continuously improve our codebase to ensure a stable, well-tested product.
- Develop new libraries and tools for internal use and for our users.
- Push the boundaries of developer experience (DX) and adopt the latest TypeScript features.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for someone with:
- 5+ years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer or equivalent.
- Solid experience with JavaScript and TypeScript codebases.
- Experience in building developer tools.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- A proactive approach to seeking feedback and helping peers.
- A passion for creating sustainable and well-tested code.
Additional Skills
- Open source project maintenance or contribution.
- Experience or interest in Rust, Edge platforms (Vercel Edge, Cloudflare Workers), or WASM.
