We are seeking a Senior AI Platform Engineer to join our dynamic team of AI engineers and researchers. This role is pivotal in developing our core AI technology and products, particularly for our new PurpleAI product.
About the Role
As a Senior AI Platform Engineer, you will:
- Develop and ship features for AI team products and services.
- Implement features in Python, write robust tests, tackle bugs, and ensure top-notch security and quality in our platforms.
- Collaborate across multiple engineering teams to design and build new capabilities for SentinelOne’s industry-leading platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with a globally distributed team of AI engineers and researchers.
- Develop features for SentinelOne products, focusing on AI and machine learning.
- Ensure the reliability and scalability of distributed systems.
- Utilize modern AI/ML techniques to solve complex problems.
- Engage in cross-functional collaboration with research and product teams.
Required Skills and Experience
- A degree in computer science or software engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Python development and production environments.
- 3+ years of experience with AI/ML techniques.
- Experience with large-scale high-load distributed systems.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work asynchronously.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, ArgoCD, and AWS.
Ideal Candidate
- Experience with API-based LLMs and modern machine learning pipelines.
- Background in data science methodologies and technologies.
- Experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or similar roles.
- Familiarity with GPU technologies and compute frameworks.
