Join SentinelOne as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer
SentinelOne is at the forefront of cybersecurity innovation, and we are looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our team. This role is pivotal in developing our new PurpleAI product, which leverages the latest advancements in machine learning and natural language processing (NLP) to protect our customers from cyber threats.
About the Role
As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you will be part of a globally distributed team of AI engineers and researchers. Your primary focus will be on integrating cutting-edge machine learning technologies into our platform to enhance our customers' ability to detect and neutralize threats efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement machine learning models, particularly in the areas of NLP and large language models (LLMs).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and build new capabilities for SentinelOne’s platform.
- Work on both the science and platform sides, depending on your skills and interests, to deliver models and systems into production.
- Ideate and create features that provide better visibility into endpoint health and security.
Required Skills and Experience
- Master’s Degree in a quantitative science or engineering field, or equivalent experience.
- Over 5 years of experience in solving complex problems using modern AI/ML techniques.
- Proficiency in designing, training, and evaluating machine learning models.
- Experience with large datasets and tailoring them for model training.
- Ability to work cross-functionally across research and product teams.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with generative models and their applications.
- Background in software engineering and data structures.
- Knowledge of endpoint security or operating system concepts.
- Experience with model parallelism and large neural network architectures.
- Publications in peer-reviewed AI conferences.
- Expertise in NLP, especially with transformer-based language models.
