About The Team & Role
Join our scrum team of 7, responsible for the backend of SentinelOne’s main product line - Endpoint Protection. You'll work on securing devices across various OS and handle billions of security events daily. We focus on building robust services for two-way interaction between our agents and the cloud-based management console.
Responsibilities
- Design and Development: Design, develop, and support robust backend systems for endpoint security.
- Feature Design and Documentation: Own the design of new features and create comprehensive documentation.
- Database Schema Design: Develop efficient database schemas for new and existing features.
- Backend Service Development: Maintain and enhance backend services using Go and Python. Develop RESTful APIs to integrate backend with front-end and other systems.
- Integration: Work with cloud services (AWS, GCP), databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB), and messaging systems (Kafka).
- Performance Optimization: Optimize system performance to handle high workloads effectively.
Skills and Experience
- A degree in Computer Science or related field, or comparable experience.
- 4+ years of experience with Python and/or Go.
- Experience with large-scale, high-load distributed systems.
- Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
