About the Role
SentinelOne is seeking a Staff Machine Learning Engineer with expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Models (LLMs) to join our team. This role is pivotal in developing our new PurpleAI product, which is at the forefront of cybersecurity innovation.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a global team of AI engineers and researchers to integrate the latest machine learning advancements into our products.
- Develop and implement machine learning models that enhance endpoint security and threat detection capabilities.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and build new features and capabilities for SentinelOne’s platform.
- Focus on either the scientific development of ML/AI models or the efficient deployment of these models into production, depending on your expertise and interests.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in a quantitative science or engineering field, or equivalent experience.
- Over 5 years of experience in solving complex problems using modern AI/ML techniques.
- Proficiency in designing, training, and evaluating machine learning models.
- Experience in handling large datasets for model training.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with research and product teams.
Preferred Experience
- Leading the development of generative models and their applications.
- Software engineering and data structures knowledge.
- Experience with endpoint security or operating system concepts.
- Expertise in natural language processing, particularly with transformer-based language models.
- Experience with API-based LLMs and model parallelism.
