Role Overview
As a Senior Back-End Engineer, you will be part of a cross-functional team including Frontend Engineers, Product Teams, Designers, and QAs. You will participate in product planning from discovery to deployment and collaborate to develop robust new features and APIs, continuously improve our industry-leading products, and find and fix any bugs at Deel Speed.
Responsibilities
- Participate in product planning and development
- Collaborate with teams to develop new features and APIs
- Ensure a white-glove experience for our customers
Skills and Experience
- Expert knowledge of Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Proficient in SQL and NoSQL databases, mainly PostgreSQL and ORM libraries such as Sequelize
- Experience with AWS Services such as S3, EKS, SNS, and SQS
- Experience with serverless app architecture on AWS
- At least 8 years of experience as a Software Engineer
