Your Role
As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be part of a truly cross-functional team including Frontend Engineers, Product Teams, Designers, and QA’s. You will participate in product planning from discovery all the way to deployment and collaborate to develop robust new features, APIs, and continuously improve our industry-leading products.
Responsibilities
- Design, code, test, and maintain applications using Node.js, TypeScript, and other technologies.
- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases, mainly PostgreSQL and ORM libraries like Sequelize.
- Utilize AWS Services such as S3, EKS, SNS, and SQS.
- Communicate complex ideas with ease and collaborate with diverse teams of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Expert knowledge of Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- At least 4 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
- Experience with SaaS products and serverless app architecture on AWS is highly desirable.
