Your Role
As a Senior Back-End Engineer, you will be a part of a truly cross-functional team including Frontend Engineers, Product Teams, Designers, and QA’s. You will participate in product planning from discovery all the way to deployment and collaborate to develop robust new features, APIs, continuously improve our industry-leading products, and find and fix any bugs at Deel Speed.
Responsibilities
- Participate in product planning and deployment
- Collaborate with teams to develop new features and APIs
- Ensure a white-glove experience for our customers
Skills and Experience
- Expert knowledge of Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases, mainly PostgreSQL and ORM libraries such as Sequelize
- Experience with AWS Services such as S3, EKS, SNS, and SQS
- Experience with serverless app architecture on AWS
- At least 8 years of experience as a Software Engineer
