Role Overview
As a Senior Backend Developer at Flipflow, you will be a key player in our technology team, driving the development of our backend systems. You will work with a modern tech stack, primarily using PHP and Laravel, to build scalable and efficient backend solutions. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance our product and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services using PHP and Laravel.
- Work with MySQL and NoSQL databases to ensure data integrity and performance.
- Implement Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles to structure our codebase.
- Collaborate with the frontend team to integrate APIs and ensure seamless user experiences.
- Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
- Manage infrastructure on Google Cloud, leveraging serverless architectures and other cloud services.
- Engage with the Customer Success team to address high-priority bugs and client setups.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of experience in backend development, with a strong focus on PHP and Laravel.
- Proficiency in MySQL and experience with NoSQL databases.
- Solid understanding of TypeScript and browser protocols.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud environments, particularly Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with SOLID principles, clean code practices, and unit testing.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with large-scale data processing and web scraping.
- Knowledge of React and TypeScript for frontend collaboration.
