Senior Frontend Developer

About the Role

Interactive Brokers is seeking a Senior Frontend Developer to join our dynamic team. This hybrid role, based in New York, NY, involves three days in the office and two days remote, providing flexibility and balance.

Responsibilities

Design and build scalable web applications within the VueJs ecosystem (VueJs, Vuex, Pinia, Vite, Cypress, webpack).
Own and build high-traffic applications focusing on speed and user experience.
Collaborate with colleagues and peers to ideate, plan, and organize large-scale projects.
Contribute to and help maintain our company-wide Vue UI Component Library.
Aid in Vue3 transition.
Set direction and partner with other frontend engineers to implement new technologies.

Required Skills

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or related area.
3+ years of commercial software development experience with an emphasis on single-page web app development.
Hands-on experience with at least one JavaScript framework - React.js/Vue.js/Angular.js (Vue.js is a plus!)
Highly proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS/LESS.
Experience integrating 1st and 3rd party APIs.
Experience working with webpack and Vite.
