We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Frontend Software Engineer with a strong focus on React to join our team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality user interfaces, collaborating with backend engineers, and contributing to the overall architecture and design of our web applications.
Your Area of Work
Within the CTO area, we operate and develop the group-wide IT infrastructure, including network, data centers, and cloud. We also manage the Group Data & Advanced Analytics and the Enterprise Architecture, which significantly contribute to the Deutsche Börse Group's overall strategy.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and implement user interfaces using React.js and related libraries.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to design and implement APIs.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Develop and maintain unit tests and integration tests.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in frontend development.
- Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for the team.
- Mentor junior developers and help them grow their skills.
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience developing web applications using React.js.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX).
- Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest or Enzyme.
- Experience with build tools like Webpack or Parcel.
- Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Passion for learning new technologies and staying ahead of the curve.
